I did not think I was
going to like this book. First, it is short - only 120 pages, which is usually
a sign of fluff, not substance. Then it is about a subject that is normally
treated with condescension - kids and philanthropy. But after 2 chapters, I was
ready to concede I had been wrong wrong wrong! I could not put this book down!
Raising Charitable
Children is masterful. Stories and strategies and how-to steps, plus
resources for direct action. And to top it off, it's a great read.
Whether you want ideas
for your own kids / grandkids, or you want to use some of these strategies to
involve young people (and whole families) in your organization, buy this book.
And then come back and buy one for every member of your family!
