The Southern Arizona
Community Diaper Bank is seeking an experienced Executive Director who is
passionate about improving life for people in need.
While the short term
work of the Diaper Bank includes providing diapers to those in need, the Diaper
Bank’s long term work will be to find ways to ensure all people have their
basic needs met. And that long term vision isn’t about diapers. It’s
about poverty, vulnerability, crisis.

What We Are
Looking For:
 |
Passion for the issues that affect vulnerable populations, as well as a passion
for poverty issues in general. |
|
Someone who thrives on start-up, but is also happy to nurture that creation to
the next level once the excitement of start-up has passed. |
|
Someone
who is visionary in their thinking, but implementation and results-focused in
their day-to-day actions. The Diaper Bank's tiny staff requires that the ED
have the ability to simultaneously aim the organization towards its future,
while accomplishing the day-to-day work of running the Diaper Bank. |
|
A proven fundraiser who enjoys development work, with successful experience in
building a donor base and other fund development systems from scratch. A
fundraising track record in a small nonprofit without substantial development
resources is a must. |
|
Someone
who finds joy in building and nurturing relationships. Given the Diaper Bank's
collaborative infrastructure, community-building / relationship-building skills
will be critical. |
|
An
effective and passionate writer and speaker, comfortable in the role of public
figure. |
